The Perceived Discomfort in the Instrumental Daily Activities(IADL) of Stroke

Abstract
Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the perceived in the instrumental daily activities of stroke.
Methods: We chose 13 people who were stroke and participated improvement program of function with cerebral vascular accident(CVA) at public health center of Ulju-gun. For the assessment of this study, we used a questionnaire about discomfort of instrumental activity of daily living(IADL).

Results: The inconvenience degrees in routine for the surveyed, who joined the research, are divided into 15 parts. 8 people said that they are not able to trim their nails, do laundry, and do ironing without another person`s help. 7 people said that they are not able to do wiping, and using vacuum cleaner without another person`s help. 6 people said that they are not able to prepare their meal, use bank, clean up bed, and go long distance travelling without another person`s help.

Conclusion: When we develop and apply the program, it must be based on the difficult activities for stroke patients, and we should consider the clauses which the stroke patients need to do in their routine.
